Hunting binoculars will have different features than a pair of birding binoculars or marine binoculars. The need for using sophisticated equipment for viewing the stars has limited the number of participants.
I originally purchased the Monarch 10x50's for bird-watching and long range mountain scanning in Arizona, however, I found the extra sharpness of the 8X resolution meant that I didn't need the larger 10X magnification, because they had such excellent detail. As an experienced wildlife photographer my top priority was optical quality, and I did alot of research before deciding on this pair. A lot of binoculars are ruined when dropped accidentally.
Attached caps will protect the lenses, but not require you to fumble in your pockets looking for lens caps if it starts to rain or snow. Optics in night vision binoculars amplifies the existing light. The waterproof models will be corrosion resistant and buoyant, not just repelling water from the lens.
When choosing hunting binoculars, look for phase corrected lenses. You can even achieve getting advice about telescopes online, you can look at reviews, you can email a telescope seller or give them a quick call to get more information. Coated lens will improve the binoculars contrast and image quality.
The greater the magnification, the narrower the field-of-view. Another way to save is to look for binoculars online.
