walter binocular microscope - all the information about Binoculars

We shall be looking at how binoculars work. Anybody who spends much time outdoors should own a pair of compact binoculars.

Will you be hunting, whale watching, or watching birds, or looking for a pair of military binoculars. With a cheap telescope, this will be of no use to you, as it will be hard to keep up. If you are planning on taking your binoculars on the family boat you will want a pair that is completely waterproof.

A good rule of thumb is, unless you are a private investigator or international spy, avoid buying a pair of binoculars with a magnification/zoom greater then 10x's. There are fine and intricate layers of chemical coatings on the surfaces of binoculars lens. Also when you are looking for a pair of hunting binoculars you might want to look for a pair with a range finder feature.

Low light uses such as hunting, birding and astronomy require larger objective lenses. If field-of-view is important to you, don't purchase the most powerful binoculars you can find.
